If you’re anything like me, winter is the time to basically go into hibernation… with the internet. Sure, I still go to work and the occasional night out, but most of the time you can find me in bed with Netflix and wine. Most of the time, I’m asleep before 10:00pm.
I can't ignore a few of my latest reads. One being this amazing piece on the impact of Beyonce's music video, Formation. Her Super Bowl performance was wonderfully executed. I'm on the edge of my seat to discover the rest of her upcoming album. Get it Girl!
If you have even half as much wanderlust as I do, then you’re always on the lookout for new travel tips, travel guides, travel anything. This article from The New York Times hasn’t exactly helped with my restlessness, but it’s fun to plan and dream. Where would you go first?
My buddies over at Suspend Magazine are launching Issue No. 6!
Dealing with both the loss of David Bowie and Alan Rickman in one week was a lot to take in. While these losses are very sad, it is nice to discover more about two incredible men. This article about Rickman made me laugh and love him even more. What a wonderful actor!
I’ve been reading more than ever this winter, and this Penguin by Design blog is the perfect companion to all that literature. I love a good book cover, and seeing the creative process behind them is a thrill. Plus, it’s a great way to discover more books to add to my list!
My other favorite winter activity? A little old-fashioned record spinning. You know the kind. Where you lie on your back on the living room floor and hum along. NPR’s “Favorite 50 Albums of 2015” is where I’ve been finding all my new favorites this year. Who else is obsessed with Carrie & Lowell?
Finally, for all your winter lounging, pajamas.
